The United Clyde Angling Protective Association Limited issue a range of permits to suit both the local and visiting angler. The permits are very favourably priced and the income generated is the sole source of revenue of the Association. ANNUAL ADULT PERMIT This permit enables the angler to fish in the main stem of the River Clyde and its tributaries within the areas managed by the Association.
This permit is for Brown Trout and other freshwater fish in their respective seasons. Inclusive of Grayling (when in season) for the permit valid dates.
The permit is valid from the First day of January until the 31st day of December, both dates inclusive.
This permit IS NOT VALID for Salmon nor Sea Trout.
ANNUAL JUVENILE PERMIT The Annual Juvenile Permit is available to all young anglers under 16 years of age and is priced to encourage young anglers.
It covers the same waters as the Annual Adult Permit.
This permit IS NOT VALID for Salmon nor Sea Trout.
DAY PERMIT A Day Permit is available to all anglers for the waters managed by the Association. It too is very reasonably priced.
The Day Permit IS NOT VALID for Salmon nor Sea Trout.
GRAYLING PERMIT This permit has been introduced to enable the Grayling angler to fish for Grayling during its season from October 7th through to March 14th (both dates inclusive). This permit is popular with the Salmon angler wishing to fish outside the Salmon season.
